What should I expect on my first visit?
At our clinics, we take great effort in discovering the cause behind of your pain/issue. Your physiotherapist or chiropractor will listen to your story and the history of your condition. They will work together with you to determine an appropriate customised treatment plan based on your physical needs and treatment goals.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring the following:
- Your health insurance card if you would like an instant rebate, GP referral or Workers Compensation paperwork (if applicable)
- Any radiographic test results (radiologist report of X-rays, MRI, CAT Scan etc),
- Cash or EFTPOS card for any payments, and
- Comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows freedom of movement.

What insurances do you take?
We are a preferred provider for HICAPS participating providers and you will usually be able to get an instant rebate for using our services. We also take workers compensation claims and Enhanced Primary Care programs from your GP. Just make sure to have this information sent out so we can bill them on your behalf.
How do I use HICAPS and my health fund for remedial or sports massage services?
If you are new to private health It’s easy to claim back with HICAPS. Just bring your health fund card with you and we’ll explain how to use it after your massage. Just swipe the health card like a credit card and your health fund will be a percentage of the service while you pay the remainder with either cash a credit, cheque or debit card- simple and no added paper work or cueing needed to claim back.
How long is each physiotherapy session?
During your first session will have your have your therapist’s undivided attention in a private treatment room for approximately 45 minutes. Follow up sessions are often 30 minutes but may be a little less or longer depending on your specific needs. Long physiotherapy consults for up to one hour are also available if required.
Do I need a referral to begin physiotherapy?
No, in Western Australia, you are allowed to come to physiotherapy sessions without a referral or doctor’s prescription. However, we will accept your doctor’s referral and EPC programs.
Will Medicare cover my physiotherapy?
At present, Medicare does not bulk bill our physiotherapy and massage services.
You may qualify for a Primary Enhanced Care Program by Medicare if you have been experiencing pain for over six months. Ask your GP to see if you are eligible and you may qualify for up to five visits to see one of our physiotherapists or chiropractors at no cost to you.
